Position Summary:

This position will be an integral member of the Data Analytics and Insights team with responsibility to gather requirements, design, enhance, develop, test, and implement reporting solutions, dashboards, and data models that meet business reporting and analytical objectives. Key partnership with Operations and Corporate leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop valuable business analytics, interactive dashboards, decision algorithms and management reports that provide insights that can be easily interpreted to improve business performance.
• Use algorithms and statistical predictive models to determine analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes.
• Provide new and creative insights to business leaders through a combination of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Identify, recommend, and drive solutions to automate data discovery and reporting processes.
• Data-storytelling with confidence communicating technical and non-technical results, explaining the story behind the insights to drive action and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Resource Center Leaders to develop and implement data analytics and reporting strategies that enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve both patient and employee satisfaction.
• Responsible for the storage and transformation of enterprise information, working with IT to ensure correct data management protocols in place when storing, transforming and accessing data.
• Design, develop and implement methodologies to ensure reimbursement accuracy by verifying payments received against contractual agreements with third-party payors at the individual transaction level.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand their opportunities, develop analysis, data reports and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience with granular data analysis, predictive analytics, and analytics technology products
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Experience with data rights and privacy considerations in a highly regulated industry (financial services, insurance, healthcare) preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure also a plus
• Knowledge and Technical Skills:
  • Proven expert with SQL Structured Query Language, SSRS and T-SQL programming experience (Stored Procedures, Jobs, Triggers, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in report development and data visualization using BI Platforms and analytics/exploratory tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience reading/writing code as Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Engineer, Technical Data Analyst, or Data Scientist
  • In-depth knowledge of various data mining, data modeling algorithms
  • Proficiency in statistics/data analysis packages, such as R and/or Python
  • Knowledge of machine learning and big data / analytics solutions provided by major public cloud vendors (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes and overall project management skills
  • Demonstrated quick time-to-competency in new subject matter areas

Language Skills:

• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Physical Demands: 

• Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.
• Ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment: 

• Consistent with a standard office environment, noise level is low with little to no extraordinary environmental factors.

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
