Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Brand Strategy and Content Director, the Content Manager will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve marketing and business goals, including new patient acquisition targets. This manager will support the development of a top-of-funnel content strategy and define a brand tone that attracts and engages audiences explaining our value proposition and differentiation. The Content Marketing Manager will design structured and optimized content for effective search, publication, distribution, and engagement while keeping SEO goals tops of mind.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The below  is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization

  • Develop, deliver and measure innovative lead generation campaigns that leverage existing and new digital tools and drive new patient acquisition
  • Lead editorial content planning and creation for multiple digital and social media platforms; collaborate with others for new ideas and content plans that support company priorities
  • Partnering with the digital team to ensure Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and keywords are embedded and optimized in all content pieces
  • Make recommendations on new content ideas based on search trends, current topics, and industry trends with the aim of increasing Brand engagement and measurable lead generation
  • Serves as a blog editor and writer overseeing our editorial calendar; managing additional writers, identifying topics, editing for clarity and relevance, and ensuring our style guide requirements are adhered to
  • Work in close partnership with CRM Campaign Specialist to plan, deliver and measure CRM efforts across various touchpoints with the ultimate goal of increasing patient retention and loyalty
  • Build social influencer strategies and execute cross-functionally; measure impact of campaigns and deliver ROI positive investments
  • Partnering with the Digital Performance Manager to manage our online reputation and internal review process
  • Continuously measure and improve content performance by testing a variety of tools, formats, and distribution channels; proactively shares and embeds the knowledge across the team for ongoing improvement
  • Develop standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, repurposing, listening, and performance measurement, including development and tracking of KPI’s.
  • Provide regular dashboard of content engagement data for Marketing leadership
  • Actively support brand integrations for acquired companies and stay up to date with the latest content marketing trends to build more effective campaigns
  • Ensure all data and work is legally compliant (e.g., copyright protection)

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, social media, Digital Marketing, or business-related field; or equivalent work experience

Work Experience:

  • 4 years of marketing/public relations/communications experience, preferably in health-related or sports marketing field
  • Experience with lead generation tactics based on customer / patient journey insights, particularly in digital environment
  • Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
  • Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objective

Certification/Licensure: None Required

 

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

  • Exceptional knowledge of all Microsoft applications, including database applications
  • Strong knowledge working within digital software systems such as CMS, Email Service Provider, Video Production, Media Monitoring.
  • Self-motivated, results driven professional who consistently delivers high quality of work
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), organizational, and presentation skills to interact effectively with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven ability to track, measure, and monitor marketing expenditures.
  • Ability to monitor cutting-edge digital marketing tactics and evaluate the efficacy for implementation.
  • Organized, motivated, team player with a passion for health, fitness and sports medicine.
  • Analytical and detail oriented with ability to drive data-driven testing.
  • Digitally savvy, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Google Analytics credentials strongly preferred
  • Firm understanding of user experience and strong search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) skills are often preferred
  • Creativity and data-driven decision-making. Strong writing, editing, and collaboration skills are a necessity.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
