Overview

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the VP Operational Excellence, this position assists with the implementation of strategic organizational priorities of IT projects. 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The below  is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

  • Organize and manage IT related projects from initiation to completions assuring all deliverables are completed and documented according to project management office (PMO) practices.
  • Understand business requirements, project scope, enforce Change Request process, and identifies risks and devises mitigation plans. Work with teams across the business to communicate project milestones and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and respond to issues related to project plan (schedule, budget, resources and scope), facilitating discussions between stakeholders and driving to a resolution. Escalates issues when appropriate.
  • Facilitate regularly scheduled core team meetings, providing transparency around project progress (schedule, budget, resources and scope).
  • Manage vendors and consultants by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Support the documentation of business requirements and communicate them effectively to IT, Product Teams and business stakeholders

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Work Experience:
    • 5 years of experience in management consulting, business process management, or program management
    • 5 years of experience in IT or highly technical environment
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • ITIL, Agile and or Scrum Master Certification preferred
  • Knowledge and Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge / experience in running Agile projects; exposure to Agile development practices and related tools [Jira]
    • Experience using MS Project, Smartsheet or other planning/scheduling tools as well as product release management practices and SDLC processes
    • Strong analytical capabilities, including quantitative and qualitative assessment skills, insight generation and critical thinking skills
    • Expert on delivering ERP, CRM, and SCM solutions on within the Microsoft platform including Dynamics AX/365 F&O and CRM preferred

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.
  • Ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment: 

  • Consistent with a standard office environment, noise level is low with little to no extraordinary environmental factors.
