Position Summary: Administer compensation programs and provide general support to Human Resource representatives regarding compensation issues or requests. Support a variety of annual projects including compensation program design, merit and incentive cycle.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The below  is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

  • Partner cross-functionally on the design, development, and implementation of various incentive plans to motivate behaviors in alignment with business objectives. Calculate financial accruals on a monthly and quarterly basis as well as deliver annual payment of plans in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Support the design and administration of compliant and market compeditive compensation programs consistent with Athletico’s overall reward strategy by reviewing programs against budgets and relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.
  • Deliver day-to-day support of compensation programs including support to HR representatives and assigned business units, preparation and maintenance of company-wide job description records, adhoc requests and short-term projects.
  • Analyze internal and external salary and wage data, complete job evaluations, and recommend pay ranges and job titles in accordance with established company structure and guidelines
  • Communicate with and train business partners and assigned business units on compensation philosophy, policy and best practices.
  • Support key project initiatives such as annual compensation planning, maket pricing review, etc by generating audit reports and analyzing data to ensure compliance with applicable policies. Compile and present recommendations for additional review and approval.
  • Mentor other Compensation Analysts in daily activities and projects.



  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Finance or Business
  • Work Experience:
    • 5 years of broad based Compensation experience to include experience in a centralized compensation department.
    • Experience administering incentive compensation and working with large complex datasets from multiple sources.
    • Experience in design and implementation of compensation programs, plans, and structures across multiple geographies.
    • Experience using compensation administration software such as CompAnalyst, Pay Factors or Pay Scale MarketPay preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • CCP or similar certification preferred
  • Knowledge and Technical Skills:
    • Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with Human Resources including compliance and regulatory requirements

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

  • Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.
  • Ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment: 

  • Consistent with a standard office environment, noise level is low with little to no extraordinary environmental factors.
